Paula D. Langworthy has been in private practice in Wichita since her graduation from Washburn University School of Law in December, 2005, except for the time period she served as Chief Judge of the Oglala Lakota Tribal Courts in South Dakota in 2011 and 2012. She has a wide variety of practice experience, including family law, contested estate litigation, contested adoptions, and general civil litigation. Paula has a strong desire to help individuals involved in family law matters, mainly due to her own experiences as a child of divorce and having gone through a divorce herself. Her combined life and law practice experience give Paula the skills and knowledge necessary to help guide individuals through their domestic situations.

Paula grew up in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the capital of the Cherokee Nation. She is a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and is actively involved in her American Indian culture. She obtained her B.S. in Criminal Justice/Administration of Justice from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, Oklahoma in December 2000 and graduated with honors from Washburn University School of Law in December, 2005.  Paula is active in her community, serving on the Derby Planning Commission and multiple committees for the Wichita Bar Association.
